Technology - Multi-User 3D

Planet 9 has been crafting multi-user worlds beginning in 1995 with seminal projects for AOL / Black Sun, Intel / Onlive and Engage Games Online / Interplay. Today, our RayGun Social platform has a robust and modern architecture geared for thousands of users occuping real world virtual places. RayGun uses industry standard XMPP and is therefore compatible with other major social platforms. We are actively involved in setting open standards for MU platforms through participation in the Web3D Consortium MU working group.
